Privacy Statement

On the 25th May, the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) legally took effect. As a business which holds business data relating to you, we are legally obliged to inform you of what data we hold and how we will use such data.

Rest assured the information we hold for you is safe and secure.

The information we hold that you have provided is listed below :

  • Your Name
  • Area of abode but not full address
  • Mobile no and optional email address
  • Past and present medical/information referring to health issues you have provided
  • Facebook details if provided

The information you have provided will only be used by Wharfedale Pilates. Our computing network is constantly monitored for viruses and access is limited to myself Jan Bryce.

Printed copies of invoices/health questionnaire are secured in locked location.

The IT system is protected with an internal firewall and anti-virus software.

Personal information collected from visitors of this site will only be used to facilitate a response to enquiries and to maintain an accurate profile of site usage. Wharfedale Pilates, in accordance with the Data Protection Act, will not pass on or sell your data to other organisations or partners.

Data is automatically collected on every visitor, however this remains anonymous and cannot be traced. The data collected is used to ensure that site development meets visitor preference increasing benefit for both visitor and Wharfedale Pilates.
